HRTU Master Course & Courses
Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully and in their entirety before purchasing, accessing, or using any Course(s) offered through HRT University, which is owned and operated by HRT University, an Ohio limited liability company (the “Company”). The following terms apply to your participation in all educational programs, materials, and services provided via HRTU, including but not limited to the HRTU Master Course and all related Courses (hereinafter the “Course(s)”).
- Definitions:
“Company”, “We”, “I”, “Our”, or “Us” means Nico Misleh, HRT University, the owner and operator of HRT University.
“HRT University” or “HRTU” refers to the online platform and educational brand owned by HRT University through which the Course(s) are offered.
“Participation”, “Participating”, “Using”, or “Use” means accessing, reading, implementing, trying, or otherwise engaging in the Course(s).
“Course/Courses” means HRTU Mastercourse, or any individual course offered through HRTU, including but not limited to the Comprehensive Male TRT Course, Foundational Female HRT Course, Thyroid Replacement Therapy Course, Advanced Female Course, and Adjunct Hormones Course.
“You” “User” or “Your” means the purchaser and/or participant accessing or using the Course(s).
- Consent:
By accessing or participating in any Course(s) offered through HRT University, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Your continued participation in the Course(s) constitutes your voluntary acceptance of these terms and your agreement to comply with them in full.
- DISCLAIMER:
By enrolling in or participating in any Course(s) through HRTU, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
HRTU is an educational platform owned and operated by Nico Misleh, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and principal of HRT University. He is not acting as your personal healthcare provider, supervisor, employer, attorney, or clinical mentor in connection with your participation in the Course(s).
The Course(s), including all related materials such as video lessons, written content, downloads, live Q&A sessions, and community discussions, are provided solely for educational and informational purposes. They are not intended to serve as medical advice, clinical direction, legal guidance, or professional consultation.
The Course(s) do not constitute individualized treatment plans, patient-specific protocols, or clinical supervision. You are solely responsible for exercising professional judgment, complying with your licensure requirements, and evaluating the applicability of any information presented.
You agree that your use of any information obtained through this Course(s) is undertaken solely at your own discretion and risk, and you accept full responsibility for the care and outcomes of any patients you treat. Any decisions regarding patient care, clinical practice, or medical protocols are entirely your responsibility. HRTU, Nico Misleh, and affiliated contributors, employees, contractors, or representatives expressly disclaim all liability for any loss, injury, claim, damage, or adverse outcome resulting from the use—or misuse—of any content provided in the Course(s).
No guarantees are made regarding the completeness, accuracy, timeliness, or effectiveness of the content. You are expected to consult up-to-date clinical guidelines, supervising and regulatory bodies and authorities, legal counsel, and state licensing boards before implementing any medical protocols or treatments based on this material.
- Email List Disclaimer and Consent:
By purchasing the Course, you acknowledge, agree and provide your express written consent to be added to our email list in accordance with applicable laws, including but not limited to the CAN-SPAM Act. This allows us to send you transactional emails related to your purchase (such as receipts, course access, and updates) as well as ongoing marketing and educational content that may be relevant to your interests. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email. Please note that unsubscribing from marketing emails will not affect our ability to send you essential transactional communications related to your purchase.
By continuing to access and engage with the Course(s), you affirm that you understand and agree to these terms.
- Assumption of the Risk:
By enrolling in or participating in any Course(s) through HRT University, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for how you choose to engage with the content provided. You understand that the Course(s) are intended for licensed healthcare professionals and are designed solely for educational purposes. The Course(s) are not a substitute for individualized medical advice, licensure-specific training, or clinical supervision.
You further acknowledge and agree:
- That your use of the Course(s) is voluntary and undertaken entirely at your own discretion and risk;
- That you are solely responsible for determining whether, how, and when to apply any information obtained through the Course(s) to your clinical practice;
- That you will consult with appropriate medical, legal, or regulatory authorities as needed before implementing any protocols, treatments, or recommendations discussed in the Course(s).
You agree that HRT University, Nico Misleh, and all affiliated contributors, contractors, and representatives shall not be liable for any decisions you make, or outcomes you experience, as a result of your participation in the Course(s).
By participating in the Course(s), you expressly assume all associated risks, including, but not limited to, risks related to patient care decisions, compliance with professional standards, regulatory oversight, or scope of practice. You acknowledge that your participation in the Course(s) does not create a provider-patient relationship, supervisory relationship, or clinical oversight of any kind.
- Intellectual Property Ownership:
All Course(s) and related content offered through HRT University are the sole intellectual property of Nico Misleh and HRT University. This includes, but is not limited to, all video modules, written materials, downloadable guides, templates, slides, transcripts, live session recordings, community posts, course descriptions, marketing materials, and any other tangible or intangible assets made available to you as part of your purchase or participation.
By accessing, reading, implementing, trying, or otherwise engaging in the Course(s), you understand and agree that:
- All rights, title, and interest in and to the Course(s) and content are expressly reserved by the Company.
- Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal, professional use only. This license does not permit resale, reproduction, distribution, modification, or public display of any Course content, in whole or in part.
- You may not create derivative works from, reverse-engineer, exploit, or use the Course(s) for commercial purposes outside of your own clinical education.
- Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of Course content is a violation of these Terms of Use and may constitute infringement under applicable intellectual property laws.
We will pursue all legal remedies available to us to protect our rights in the event of a breach of this section, including injunctive relief, damages, and attorneys’ fees.
- No Sharing:
Access to the Course(s) is intended for a single user only. By enrolling in the Course(s), you agree not to share, reproduce, distribute, forward, or otherwise disseminate any part of the Course content—whether paid or unpaid—with any other individual, group, or third party without prior written consent from HRT University.
By accessing, reading, implementing, trying, or otherwise engaging in the Course(s), you understand and agree that:
- You may not share your password, login credentials, or course materials with any other person, including but not limited to colleagues, friends, employees, or business partners.
- Any individual who accesses the Course(s) using your login information will be deemed to be acting with your authorization, and you will be held fully responsible for any violations of these Terms of Use.
- If we determine that you have shared your login, access credentials, or Course content with an unauthorized user, your access to the Course(s) will be terminated immediately, and no refund will be issued.
- We reserve the right to pursue any and all legal remedies available for violations of this section, including injunctive relief and claims for damages.
- No Claims Made Regarding Results:
Any testimonials, case studies, success stories, or examples shared in connection with the Course(s), whether provided on our website, social media, or within the Course platform, are individual experiences shared by real participants. These examples are provided for illustrative purposes only and are not guarantees that you will achieve the same or similar outcomes.
By accessing, reading, implementing, trying, or otherwise engaging in the Course(s), you understand and agree that:
- Every individual’s background, clinical experience, scope of practice, and level of engagement with the Course(s) is unique;
- Your results may vary significantly based on factors beyond our control, including but not limited to your licensure, level of effort, and how you choose to apply the information provided;
- We make no representations, warranties, or guarantees, express or implied, regarding the outcomes you may achieve from participating in the Course(s);
- Any decisions you make based on the Course(s) are undertaken at your own discretion and risk.
There is no assurance that the results of prior participants will be representative of your experience. You agree not to hold HRT University, Nico Misleh, liable for any perceived lack of results or dissatisfaction with your performance following participation in the Course(s).
- DISCLAIMER – No Warranties, Guarantees, or Representations Are Being Made:
The Course(s) and all related content, services, and materials are provided strictly “as is” and without any warranties, guarantees, or representations of any kind, whether expressed or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability;
- Fitness for a particular purpose;
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the information provided;
- Suitability of the Course(s) for your specific circumstances or practice setting;
- Non-infringement of intellectual property rights.
By accessing, reading, implementing, trying, or otherwise engaging in the Course(s), you understand and agree that:
- We do not guarantee that participation in the Course(s) will result in any specific outcome, clinical competency, or business result;
- Your use of the Course(s) is entirely at your own risk;
- HRT University, and Nico Misleh, shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or claims—including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages—arising out of or related to your use, misuse, or inability to use the Course(s) or related content.
We make no promises that the Course(s) will meet your expectations or that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. You accept full responsibility for verifying any information before relying on it in a clinical or business context.
- Your Release of Us, Indemnification, Hold Harmless:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, waive, and forever discharge HRT University, Nico Misleh, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, actions, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses, whether known or unknown, arising out of or related to:
- Your purchase of, participation in, or use of the Course(s);
- Your application, or misapplication, of any information, content, or materials provided;
- Any breach of these Terms of Use by you.
You further agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) that may result from:
- Your violation of any applicable laws, regulations, or professional standards;
- Your infringement of any third-party rights;
- Any claim brought by a third party arising from your conduct, actions, or omissions in connection with your participation in the Course(s).
This indemnification obligation shall survive the termination or expiration of your access to the Course(s).
By enrolling in the Course(s), you affirmatively acknowledge and agree that:
- You are solely responsible for your actions, decisions, and conduct related to the Course(s);
- The Company does not and cannot guarantee outcomes, results, or protections against any legal, clinical, or regulatory consequences arising from your participation.
- Our Refund Policy:
We are committed to supporting your success and satisfaction with the Course(s) provided by the Company through HRTU. If you have questions or concerns about your experience, please contact us directly at emily@nicomislehnp.com, and we will make every reasonable effort to support you.
Confidence Guarantee – Master Course
We stand behind the quality and integrity of our educational content and offer a conditional “Confidence Guarantee” for the HRTU Master Course. HRTU’s programs.
To be eligible for any support under this guarantee, you must meet all of the following requirements within 30 calendar days of purchase:
- Watch and complete the Introduction section and the Male HRT section in full;
- Submit your course notes, workbook pages, or proof of participation showing reasonable engagement with the course materials; and
- Contact us via email (emily@nicomislehnp.com) within the 30-day window and clearly explain why the course did not meet your expectations for clinical clarity or confidence.
If these conditions are met, we may offer, at our discretion:
- Additional support to help you implement the materials,
- A 1:1 strategy call with a mentor or instructor, or
- Additional resources or bonus material to help you succeed.
Please note: Refunds are not guaranteed and will not be issued unless the above conditions are satisfied and a good-faith effort to engage with the Course(s) has been demonstrated. This policy is designed to protect the integrity of our course and community while supporting serious learners in their clinical and business success.
No Chargeback:
By purchasing a Course, you expressly agree not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your credit card provider, payment processor, or bank for any reason related to the Course(s). You acknowledge that initiating an unauthorized chargeback constitutes a breach of these Terms. If you do initiate a chargeback, you agree to pay a $500 administrative fee plus any costs incurred in defending against the chargeback, and we reserve the right to report the incident to credit bureaus and/or collections as a delinquent account and to pursue all available legal remedies, including recovery of attorneys’ fees.
- ARBITRATION CLAUSE:
If you have any complaint or should any issue arise in the use of the Course(s), please contact us directly first by emailing Emily Beal at emily@nicomislehnp.com.
However, if we are unable to amicably resolve your dispute in that manner, you agree that you and Nico Misleh, HRT University shall submit your dispute to binding arbitration with the American Arbitration Association, before an arbitrator that is mutually agreed upon, in accordance with the American Arbitration Association’s (“AAA”) rules.
By agreeing to this term, you hereby knowingly, voluntarily and intentionally waive your right to a jury trial in court, which would otherwise be available to you if not for this Arbitration Clause. You also waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. Should any arbitration hearing need to be held, it shall be held within 20 miles of Cincinnati, Ohio. The arbitration shall be conducted in English and Ohio law shall govern.
If the arbitrator issues an award and a judgment is made, the judgment will be binding and will be entered in court in the State of Ohio. Your sole and exclusive remedy in connection with any dispute shall be limited to the refund of any amount paid for the Course(s). Under no circumstances may you seek or recover additional damages, including but not limited to consequential, incidental, special, punitive, or exemplary damages.
- Limitation of Liability:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that HRT University, Nico Misleh, and their officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, and representatives (collectively, the “Company Parties”) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to:
- Personal injury, property damage, or death;
- Business interruption or loss of income;
- Loss of goodwill, data, or business opportunities;
- Errors, omissions, or delays in the delivery or content of the Course(s);
- Any application, misapplication, or interpretation of Course content.
This limitation applies regardless of the cause of action—whether in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise—and applies even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
You expressly acknowledge and agree that:
- Your participation in the Course(s) is voluntary and at your own risk;
- The Course(s) are provided on an “as is” basis without warranties or guarantees of any kind;
- In no event shall the total liability of the Company Parties exceed the amount you paid for the Course(s).
HRT University and its officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, “Company Parties”) shall not be responsible or liable for any damages you may incur, directly or indirectly, from your participation in the Course(s), except as prohibited by applicable law. We do not assume liability for damages, injuries, harm, death, misuse of (or failure to properly use) the Course(s) or its content, due to any act, or failure to act, by you. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
- PAYMENT, PURCHASE, AND PAYMENT PLAN TERMS
General Payment Terms:
When you pay for the Course(s) by credit card or other payment method, you authorize HRT University to charge your selected payment method for the amount owed, including any applicable taxes, fees, or charges for the Course(s). When you purchase the Course(s), your information (i.e. credit card and contact info) may be collected by the third-party merchant Stripe, Kajabi Payments, PayPal, KlarnaApple Pay, Google Pay (depending on the payment method you choose at checkout), who may have privacy policies or security practices that are different from ours. HRT Universityis not responsible for the merchant’s independent policies or practices.
Klarna Payment Terms & Conditions
If you choose to pay for your HRT University purchase using Klarna’s “Pay in 4” installment plan or any other Klarna financing option offered at checkout, please read the following carefully:
Klarna is a third-party payment provider, and by selecting their services, you agree to abide by Klarna’s terms and conditions. HRT University is not responsible for managing, collecting, or enforcing payment schedules related to Klarna financing.
Your payment agreement—including due dates, payment amounts, and any late fees—is made solely between you and Klarna. If a payment fails or is missed, Klarna will manage all communications, penalties, collections, and potential credit reporting. HRT University does not have the ability to intervene in matters related to missed or declined payments made via Klarna.
By choosing to pay via Klarna, you acknowledge and accept that:
- Klarna is responsible for all billing and collections associated with your installment payments.
- HRT University receives full payment at time of purchase from Klarna, and your financial obligation to Klarna begins at that point.
- Any consequences of failed or late payments (including late fees, credit reporting, and collection notices) are governed by Klarna’s policies and not under the jurisdiction of HRT University.
- Klarna may charge up to $7 per missed payment, and you may be reported to credit bureaus if you default, per Klarna’s user agreement.
- If Klarna notifies us of a failed or unresolved payment, your access to the course and any included content will be revoked immediately and may remain suspended until payment is resolved in full. Repeated failed payments may result in permanent removal from the platform.
Confidence Guarantee:
At HRT University, we offer a Confidence Guarantee to eligible course participants who comply with all course requirements and participation guidelines. If you have concerns about your experience, outcomes, or satisfaction, you must contact HRT University directly to discuss any resolution. This guarantee is not managed by Klarna and cannot be claimed through Klarna’s dispute system.

- Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court or other authority of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be deemed severed from these Terms and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
All other terms shall remain in full force and effect. The failure or unenforceability of any one clause—whether in part or in whole—shall not be construed to limit or impair the effectiveness of the rest of the agreement.
- Entire Agreement
These Terms of Use, along with any applicable purchase agreements or written policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and HRT University regarding your access to and participation in the Course(s). They supersede any prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, understandings, or agreements—whether oral or written—between you and the Company.
No oral promises, modifications, or interpretations shall be binding unless made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of the Company.
- Applicable Law + Venue
These Terms of Use shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any action, claim, or legal proceeding arising from or related to these Terms or your participation in the Course(s) shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Clermont County, Ohio. The parties agree that any dispute resolution process, including arbitration if applicable, shall take place in Clermont County, Ohio.
By purchasing and/or participating in the Course(s), you acknowledge and agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of these courts and waive any objection to venue or forum non conveniens.
