Cherrell is a registered nurse, entrepreneur, and homeschooling mom of two. As co-founder of Apollo Health Optimization and HRT University, she’s passionate about helping providers build businesses that support the lives they actually want to live.
She’s someone who never uses the word “can’t” and truly keeps the HRTU ship afloat. She designs and coordinates our live events, creates a bulletproof financial system that even the best CPA’s are impressed with. She sees our clients as “family” and does everything in her power to co-create a comfortable, warm, and inviting environment for people to learn and thrive.

Hi, I’m Nico, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who built a thriving, cash-based HRT clinic from the ground up. After years of watching patients struggle with fatigue, weight gain, and burnout, and seeing providers feel overwhelmed by vague protocols and scattered education, I knew there had to be a better way. That’s why I created HRT University: to blend science, strategy, and innovation into a clear, practical system that helps providers master hormone therapy and build sustainable practices.
As a national speaker on HRT, functional medicine, and mental health, and a consultant to hundreds of providers, I’m passionate about reshaping how we learn and deliver hormone care, so more patients thrive and more providers feel confident, equipped, and free.
